This does not include the brain injuries that are treated in emergency departments and outpatient settings or those that go untreated. BIANJ offers education, outreach and advocacy to prevent brain injuries and help the thousands of our neighbors and their families who sustain losses and need support to cope with the long term effects of acquired and traumatic brain injuries.
